Services

Dr. Hupp is an approved provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid (Traditional/PCCM and Amerigroup), and Superior Medicaid for children in foster care. Superior Medicaid and Chips typically will not pay for outpatient psychological testing.

Most insurance companies may not cover many of the services we offer. Also, experience has shown that services for behavioral/mental health typically have higher deductibles than traditional medical care.

Dr. Hupp strongly recommends paying out-of-pocket for services. Doing so decreases the amount of time to process your account and those savings are passed on to you. Discounts are offered for fee-for-service services, but must be agreed upon during the initial consultation. Package pricing discounts are also available.

To help with these fee-for-service agreements, Dr. Hupp offers in-house financing options and payment plans. All of our services are covered under Health Savings Accounts and Flexpay Health Accounts. You will be provided with a superbill that lists all appropriate billing codes and diagnostic information necessary for third-party reimbursement.

Psychological Testing Includes a clinical interview with the psychologist, administration of a full, standardized IQ test, academic achievement testing, and emotional/behavioral/personality testing. An extensive written report of findings will be available in approximately 10 days and will include several recommendations.	Psychological Testing $150.00 / hour (typically 4-6 hours)
Neuropsychological Testing Includes same items as the Psychological Testing, but includes additional tests for listening/auditory processing, planning & problem solving (aka executive processing), memory, impulse control, visual perception, and motor processing.	Neuropsychological Testing $150.00 / hour (typically 8-10 hours)
Bio-chemical Lab Testing Many of the Lab testing companies have their own pricing structures. Some will allow the patient to pay the lab directly, some allow for insurance reimbursement, but usually the quickest, least expensive method is to coordinate all testing and payment through our clinic. Costs vary depending on the type of lab work and level of analysis desired. Basically, pricing is on a case-by-case basis.	Case by case basis depending on type of lab testing desired.
Clinic-based Treatments Clinic-based treatments typically occur 1-2 times per week, last about 30 minutes, and most treatment protocols estimate about 20 sessions (10 weeks). Clinic-based treatments include:      Neurotherapy      The Listening Program consultation/monitoring      Core Strengthening       Brain Gym      BrainTrain	Clinic-based Treatment $65.00 / 30 min. session
Home-based Treatments Some of the programs offered include at-home training requirements with weekly clinic-based monitoring. Equipment, software, etc will be charged to the patient at-cost.	At-cost (varies depending on equipment)
